The degree course “Master of Science in Psychology: Focus on Clinical Psychology and Psychotherapy” at the Free University of Berlin has a length of four semesters. The program is research and application-oriented and prepares students for licensing examinations in psychotherapy. The training is modular and includes Special disorder and procedural theory of psychotherapy, Job qualifying activity, Multivariate statistical analysis methods for psychotherapists, Module: Evaluation Research in Psychotherapy and other models. The admission requirement is for students to have at least a Bachelor's degree in psychology or an equivalent foreign degree. Graduates can start working in research, teaching and practice in psychotherapy and clinical-psychological counselling and other fields.
