The program “Master of Arts in Religious Studies” at the Free University of Berlin has a continuity of four semesters. The course examines the various world religions and gender relations in different historical and cultural contexts. The curriculum includes the compulsory modules of Basics of religious studies research, Methods of religious and cultural history research, Transfer of religion and cultural transformation and Historical-analytical specialization. Students acquire the skills to analyze and interpret the processes of transference and transformation of religious concepts and practices in different regions. Candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree in the humanities, cultural studies, or social sciences and level B2 in English to apply for the program.
