The program “Master of Arts in Semitic Studies” at the Free University of Berlin extends and deepens the already acquired knowledge and skills in the undergraduate degree in languages, culture and history of societies in the Middle East. The duration of the training is four semesters and is conducted in English and German. The course consists of Basics area, Specialization area with two modules to choose and Inter- and transdisciplinary area (elective area). To apply, applicants must have a Bachelor's degree from a relevant program and a B2 level in Arabic and English. Graduates can apply for jobs in policy advice, media, publishing, museums, tourism, adult and further education and other career opportunities.
