The “Bachelor of Arts in Social and Cultural Anthropology’’ study program offered by Free University of Berlin is a six-semester course designed by the Department of Political and Social Sciences. It is a study program created in two variations: Major subject in a combi bachelor and Minor subject in a combi bachelor. The course is primarily focused on the social structures and practices of different religious, economics or legal groups. The graduates are expected to examine the interconnections and development influences between local and global communities. And also, to apply different conseptual and methodological skills during their social and cultural anthropology researches. Additionaly, the University offers and extensive language practice for selected second languages, such as: Arabic, Chinese, Indonesian, Japanese, Korean, Kurdish, Polish, Russian, Swahili, and Turkish.
