The four-semester course “Master of Arts in Social and Cultural Anthropology” at the Free University of Berlin is taught in German and English. The program enables students to carry out independent academic work and to analyze complex socio-cultural configurations and processes. The content consists of a compulsory, a compulsory elective and a research area.  Students learn to deal with different, complex and social configurations and processes by analyzing them from multiple perspectives. The admission requirements are a Bachelor’s degree in ethnology, social or cultural anthropology and proficiency in English.
