The “Bachelor of Arts in Study of Religions’’ study program offered by Free University of Berlin is a six-semester course designed by the Department of History and Cultural Studies. It is a study program created in a single variation: Minor subject in a combi bachelor. The course is primariy focused on history of religion in Europe with a strong accent on the Greek and Roman culture. The interdisciplinary approach includes subjects like Anthropology, Hermeneutics, Religion, etc. The participants are expected to understand, translate and work with different sources of scientific information. The educational program is a careful blend of theory and practice aiming to introduce the graduates to the influence of the European religion on the society and culture in a global context.
