The main aim of Therapeutic Sciences programs is to provide students with knowledge of how to manage and treat highly complex therapy cases, identify and evaluate symptoms, and treat patients on the basis of scientific methods. Students in Therapeutic Sciences can expect to be taught subjects like Public Health, Communication and Advising, Health Promotion and Prevention, Ethics, Clinical Reasoning, Quality Management, Business Administration, Leadership and Management, as well as Speech Therapy, Orthopedics, Occupational Therapy or Neurophysiology, depending on the focus. A degree course in Therapeutic Sciences provides students not only with in-depth theoretical knowledge of various therapeutic concepts, but also with opportunities to gain professional experience in the field through internships and work placements, and develop transferrable skills, such as analytical thinking, critical assessment, problem-solving and strong communication skills.
