The university certificate course “Debt Counselling“ is obtained after a 3-month study period conducted in German. The program focuses on 3 key topics - Loan restructuring plans and public creditors, Communication strategies and counselling skills in debt counselling, and Banking and insolvency law. During their education, students will gain in-depth theoretical and practical knowledge. Additionally, they’ll develop key competencies and soft skills such as working in a team, leadership, organisation, critical thinking, and problem-solving. Graduates can implement their technical and methodological skills into counselling work and into dealings with creditors, banks, or the judiciary.
