Description
The “Master of Science in Public Health” is a 4-semester program and is conducted in German and English. It is suitable for applicants with a Bachelor’s or a relevant degree in Health Sciences. The curriculum consists of interdisciplinary courses with the main focus on public health strategies, research methods, sociology of health, and structures of health systems. Additionally, participants can personalise their studies by choosing an elective module, for example in Health Promotion, Social Epidemiology, Environment and Health, Globalisation and Health, Ageing in Europe, and more. The program is practice-oriented and gives students the opportunity to gain hands-on experience and prepares them for day-to-day operations. Participants will have the chance to study abroad for a semester and broaden their horizons. Graduates are qualified to pursue a career in health science research or teaching, health reporting at the communal, state, or federal level or opt for a doctoral degree.
