Health Psychology studies the relationship between mind and body, and how psychological factors affect people’s overall health. Health Psychology aims to understand how psychological, behavioral, and cultural factors influence physical health and illnesses, but also how people’s quality of life can be improved by promoting healthy behaviors and addressing the psychological issues directly concerning physical health. Health Psychology deals with health promotion, education and spread of information in society.
