The “Bachelor of Arts in Sport Journalism” is a six-semester study program offered by the German Sport University Cologne. Each course in the university is aligned with the professional activity of the students, and the study periods are divided into different modules. The basic courses in the Bachelor’s program combine theory and practice, and build the foundations of the sports science. The study program is primarily focused on sport science, journalism and communications science. The participants are expected to develop interdisciplinary skills, creative, analytical thinking, and to gain knowledge on journalistic preparation of sports topics. Upon graduation, the students can pursue a career in sports companies, clubs, associations, agencies in PR, media and market, media research, etc.
