The “Bachelor of Arts in Sport Management and Sport Communication” is a six-semester study program offered by the German Sport University Cologne. Each course in the university is aligned with the professional activity of the students, and the study periods are divided into different modules. The basic courses in the Bachelor’s program combine theory and practice, and build the foundations of the sports science. The study program is primarily focused on sports management, sports communication, and economy. The participants are expected to develop interdisciplinary skills and to gain knowledge on sporting goods, sports organizations, and sports markets. Upon graduation, the students can pursue a career in fields of management of sports clubs, federations, commercial providers, sport events or in marketing and sales of sporting goods, PR, and event agencies.
