The “Master of Science in Sports Physiotherapy” program at German Sport University Cologne combines sports science, medicine and physiotherapy. Over the standard period of study of 4 semesters, theory and practical experience are provided to students. Sports Science, Sports medicine, Sports physiotherapeutic treatment methods, Supplementary fields, Scientific competencies and other subjects are part of the course curriculum. Qualified physiotherapists with at least one year of relevant professional experience and a degree in scientific studies are able to apply for this degree. Graduates qualify for managerial positions and are able to make effective therapy decisions.
