“Teaching at Hauptschule, Realschule, Secondary and Comprehensive Schools” is a study program offered by the German Sport University Cologne, created in two variations – Bachelor’s and Master’s. The university’s teaching program is designed for five different types of schools. During the study, the participants will pass not only the major science course but also an additional teachers training. The German Sport University Cologne has established successful partnerships with the University of Cologne and the University of Siegen where the additional teachers training will take part. The students are expected to further develop their interdisciplinary skills and to gain knowledge on the different types of schools and the specific needs of the students on every educational level. The graduates are also to learn how to pay attention to the individual pupil, how to provoke interest in theory, and to develop the pupils’ vocational skills.
