“Teaching at Vocational Colleges” is a study program offered by the German Sport University Cologne, created in two variations – Bachelor’s and Master’s. The university’s teaching program is designed for five different types of schools. During the study, the participants will pass not only the major science course but also an additional teachers training. The German Sport University Cologne has established successful partnerships with the University of Cologne and the University of Siegen where the additional teachers training will take part. The students are expected to further develop their interdisciplinary skills and to gain knowledge on how to cooperate with the pupils and lead them successfully to the professional knowledge, professional development and professional qualifications. The graduates are also to be introduced to all general educational qualifications and specifics of the vocational colleges.
