The Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies is a foundation university seated in Geneva that specializes in International Studies. It currently has a total of some 800 students attending disciplinary and interdisciplinary Master degree programs. Among the disciplinary Master programs are “Anthropology and Sociology“, “International Economics“, “International History“, “International Law“, as well as “International Relations and Political Science“. The scope of interdisciplinary studies includes the study programs “International Affairs“, and “Development Studies“. Also on offer is a subsequent PhD program. Moreover, the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies offers a variety of Executive Education programs. They include, for example, the training programs “International Negotiation and Policy-Making“, “Health Diplomacy and Migration“, “Environmental Governance“, “Development Policies and Strategies“, “International Law“, “Intellectual Property and Trade for Global Health“, as well as “CAS in Global Health Diplomacy“. Last but not least, the Institute carries out joint programs in partnership with the Harvard Kennedy School, the University of Hong Kong, the University of Bejing, the Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio de Janeiro, the Smith College, the Wellesley College, Yale University.
