The doctoral program of “Geosciences” is a 3-semester program taught in German and English. Throughout their studies, participants will receive in-depth theoretical and practical training. The curriculum includes multifaceted courses in Geology, Paleontology and Stratigraphy, Petrology and Geochemistry, Mineralogy and Hydrogeochemistry, and more. Through various case studies and research-oriented seminars, students will gain social, technical, and analytical skills needed to carry out scientific work independently. The PhD also promotes the development of soft skills needed for a successful career. Upon completion of the program, graduates are qualified to assume leadership positions in geospatial technology, physical geodesy and geophysics, mathematical and numerical geodesy, space sciences, etc.
