Development Economics is a branch of economics that deals with analyzing the development processes of the economies in third world countries. Students learn about world problems, like poverty, and what policies are effective. They examine various economic issues through methods learned in technical and analytical training, and through research, they gain understanding of issues like inequality, migration, education, environment and others.
