The entirely English-taught degree program “Bachelor of Engineering in Electronic Engineering” is with a duration of seven semesters and offered by the Hamm-Lippstadt University of Applied Sciences. The aim of the course is to prepare the graduates for future professional work as an electronic engineer along with the involved current and future challenges. By providing a close interrelation of the topics of electronics and computer science with the strong understanding of system development, the prospective students will be able to apply standardized modeling techniques to develop complex systems in an interdisciplinary manner and successfully create design models with common tools for instance using 3D printing technologies. Graduates acquire the competence in how to develop hardware and software prototypes up to the production of printed circuit boards as well as the design simple control know-how of engineering systems up to distributed technical systems and more.
