The course “Bachelor of Science in Sports and Health Care Engineering” is offered by the Hamm-Lippstadt University of Applied Sciences with a duration of seven semesters. The course is primarily oriented towards the in-depth exploration of sports, health care and technologies from a technology-based perspective. By covering engineering disciplines such as materials engineering, construction and product design or production techniques in combination with a fundamental understanding of the human organism play the prospective students obtain fundamental knowledge in the anatomy, biomechanics, physiology and more. Graduates of “Bachelor of Science in Sports and Health Care Engineering” gain the professional access in design, development and production engineers in sports and health-care product development as well as in the field of product tests.
