The study program “Master of Music in Conducting Children’s and Youth Choirs’’ offered at Hanover University of Music, Drama and Media provides a full-time, as well as a part-time Master’s course with a range of duration between four and eight semesters. This program is designed for graduates of one of the corresponding undergraduate degrees that the university offers. The central teaching approach of the program focuses primarily on the acquisition of theoretical and practical knowledge regarding the vocal development of children and young adults. The wide variety of modules that participants could follow ensures the portfolios of the program’s objectives. During their studies, students can complete courses in “Voice Diagnostic Listening Practice’’, “Mediation Skills”, “Developmental Psychology” and “Self-management”.
