Description
The study program “Bachelor of Arts in Education for Special Needs, Minor Subject Music’’ offered at Hanover University of Music, Drama and Media provides a full-time Bachelor’s course with a duration of four semesters. This program works in collaboration with the Leibniz Universität Hannover. The Bachelor’s program aims at providing students with the core pedagogical competencies of working with children with special needs. In addition to that, participants are required to complete additional courses on music from the third semester onwards. The second core subject aims to familiarize participants with the various practical aspects of the subject. This includes instrumental lessons, singing lessons, piano accompaniment, as well as ear training.
