The HBK Saar, founded in 1989, is a public art school seated in Saarbrücken, Saarland. Nearly 410 students are enrolled at HBK Saar in study programs at Bachelor’s, Diploma, and Master’s level. Programs leading to a Bachelor (B.A.) or Diploma degree are “Fine Arts“, “Communication Design“, “Media Art & Design“, and “Product Design“. In terms of Master studies, prospective studens have the choice between the graduate programs “Fine Arts“, “Communicatio Design“, “Product Design“, and “Media Art & Design“, on the one hand, and the specialized Master courses “Public Art and Public Design“, “Curating“, “Network Culture and Design Theory“, “Museum Education“, and “Culture Management“, on the other hand.
