Cyber security is becoming increasingly important for companies, organizations, governments and individuals. Many companies are looking for specialists to protect their information and systems from risks, threats and crises.

Cyber security does not only affect computers or the Internet. It covers all information technology related to the Internet and similar networks as well as operational technologies in the field of industrial plants and public utility networks.


The Master’s degree program Cyber Security at the University of Bavarian Economics in Munich is an application-oriented degree program that deals with challenges, problems and solutions of IT security.

The program is aimed at Bachelor’s graduates who want to understand and apply the various aspects of cyber security. The Master of Science (M. Sc. ) program can be completed as a full-time or part-time program.

Requirements


Completed Bachelor’s Degree:

  • (business) informatics; or
  • industrial engineering; or
  • Electrical Engineering / Information Technology or similar subjects


ECTS:

  • Ideally 210 ECTS, but at least 180 ECTS
  • For the Bachelor’s degree with 180 ECTS, individual agreements are made before the beginning of the course to provide the missing ECTS.

B2 Language level in the language of instruction English
