This major in the mechanical engineering program at HDBW combines engineering with natural science and technology. We dealt with issues such as renewable energies, energy supply, but also with environmental protection. The focus also addresses the development of sustainable energy systems, which are indispensable for the future.

Regenerative energy systems
Energy and environment policy
Resource efficiency
Environmental management
We provide students at HDBW with insights into energy and environmental technology and prepare them optimally for future complex situations in order to make them experts in the field of energy and environmental management.

Bachelor’s degree:

• University of Applied Sciences entrance qualification or
• Subject-related university entrance qualification or
• General university entrance qualification
• Even without the Abitur (Abitur) with appropriate vocational training
