The academic course “Child and Youth Care” is a 3-semester long program conducted in German. Throughout their studies, participants will receive in-depth theoretical and practical training. They’ll focus on the individual observation, care, and monitoring of acute and chronic diseases in children and adolescents. The course is application-oriented and aims to provide students with a holistic approach to challenging situations. Upon completion of the program, graduates are qualified to assume leadership positions in children's departments for physical and mental illnesses, pediatric surgical departments, premature and newborn departments, extramural care and counselling facilities.
