The academic course “Intensive Care for Children” is a part-time, German-taught program with a duration of 3 semesters. The curriculum consists of multifaceted courses with a focus on Special Physiology, Pathology, and Pharmacology, Resuscitation and Shock Therapy, Enteral and Parenteral Nutrition, Ventilation Procedures and Ventilation Therapy, Neonatology and Paediatrics, and much more. The program also offers participants the opportunity to choose from a plethora of elective modules and deepen their knowledge. Through various case studies and application-oriented seminars, they’ll gain practical relevance and professional core competencies. Upon completion of the program, graduates are qualified to assume positions in intensive units and monitoring wards.
