The academic course “OR Care” is a 2-semester long, part-time program conducted in German. Throughout their studies, participants will receive in-depth theoretical and practical training. The curriculum includes multifaceted courses in Special Care in Operating Room, Anesthesia and Pharmacology, First Aid, Surgical anatomy, General and Special Surgery, Hygiene, and more. Also, students can personalise their education by taking up elective modules. Through various case studies and group projects, participants will acquire hands-on experience, key competencies, and soft skills. Upon completion of the program, graduates are qualified to assume positions in clinics, hospitals, and outpatient care.
