The “Master of Engineering in Mechatronics and Robotics” is a 3-semester long program conducted in German. It is a continuation of the corresponding Bachelor’s degree offered at Heilbronn University. The curriculum consists of advanced courses in Computer & Robot Vision, Mechatronics and Robotics, Computational Intelligence, Fibre Composites, Higher Gear Technology, Mobile Robots, Optical Sensors, Special Materials, and more. Additionally, students can personalise their education by taking up elective modules. The MEng is application-oriented and aims to provide them with practical relevance and key competencies. Furthermore, it promotes the development of soft skills needed for day-to-day operations. Occupational opportunities include work in control of machines, applications of industrial robots and the development of newly emerging service robots. Graduates can also opt for a later doctoral degree.
