The “Bachelor of Science in Medical Informatics” is a German-taught program with a duration of 6 semesters. Throughout their education, students will gain a fundamental understanding of Medicine, Systems Informatics, Medical Informatics, Software Engineering, Database and Information Systems, Business Administration and Law, Information Security, etc. Also, they can choose from a plethora of elective modules and diversify their education. Through various case studies and application-oriented seminars, participants will acquire hands-on experience, key competencies, and soft skills needed for a successful career. Upon completion of the program, graduates are qualified to assume positions in health insurance, pharmaceutical industry, medical technology companies, consulting firms, public services, software industry, IT departments of hospitals and clinics, etc. They can also opt for a consecutive Master’s degree.
