Description
The “Master of Science in Sustainable Tourism Development” is a 3-semester long program conducted in German and English. It is suitable for applicants with a relevant Bachelor’s degree who wish to further their education. The curriculum consists of interdisciplinary courses in International Tourism Management, Tourism Geography, Quality and Environment Management, Communal Services and Public Management, Tourism Policy, Planning & Development, Sustainable Tourism Management, Law, and more. Additionally, students can undertake elective modules and diversify their education. The MA is application-oriented and aims to provide participants with hands-on experience and key competencies. It also promotes the development of soft skills needed for a successful career. Upon completion of the program, graduates can find employment in tourism associations, tour operators and the hotel industry, private planning and consulting offices, nature conservation and protected area management, international organisations and NGOs, education, and public relations.
