The Hessische Hochschule für Finanzen und Rechtspflege, founded in 1980, is a school of public administration seated in Rotenburg an der Fulda, Hesse. It currently trains round about 880 students for upper intermediate services of fiscal authorities in Hesse as well as of the Administration of Justice of Thuringia. The School provides Diploma study programs in Taxation (Dipl.-Finw. (FH)), and Judicature (Dipl.-Rpfl. (FH)). The three-year study programs break down into a theoretical and practical part: Students spend approximately 20 months at the School, while spending the remaining time at the respective vocational training facility.
