The concert examination program “Composition” at HfM Saar has a duration of 4 semesters. The course intends to give students the means to devote themselves to the further development of their own compositional or artistic approaches for two full years and to use the transition phase to get involved in music. With a high practical relevance, the program provides applicable skills and experience that can later be applied in one’s professional life. Admission to the program is open to students who have completed at least two semesters of main subject lessons as well as at least two semesters of practice, and a concert qualification or a Master's degree in composition with distinction or the grade "very good".
