HFT Stuttgart University of Applied Sciences was established in 1832 in Stuttgart, Baden-Württemberg. Currently, there are 4,000 students enrolled in 33 Bachelor’s and Master’s courses. There are three main faculties with seven departments: the faculty of Architecture and Design (Interior Architecture, Urban Planning, Architecture) the faculty of Civil Engineering, Building Physics and Business Management (Civil Engineering, Infrastructure Management, Geotechnical Engineering, Climate Engineering) and the faculty of Geomatics, Computer Science, and Mathematics (Logistics, Applied Mathematics, Surveying and Geoinformatics). Students in the field of civil engineering can benefit from an additional special feature of professional qualification in that they receive a “Theoretical E-certificate” that can provide considerable benefits for graduates’ professional career paths.
