The full-time study program “Bachelor of Arts in Social Work & Sport” is provided by the DHGS German University for Health & Sport with a duration of seven semesters. It can also be taken as a part-time course. The course is practice-oriented, designed to teach students the basics of individual and social developments, and how can improve social justice and diversity. Content of study includes the subjects History and Theory of Social Work, Methods of Action, Legal Foundations of Social Work. At the end of their studies, participants are able to deal with complex social issues in professional and effective way, as well as how can work with children or people with disabilities. Successfully completing this program prepares graduates for professional career as a social worker or social pedagogue.
