Leipzig Graduate School of Management conducts an executive course in “Corporate Succession”. It is a design suitable for busy schedules, with the role of expanding and strengthening managerial skills and expertise. The program is flexibly scheduled into three modules within six months, which occupy fifteen days altogether. The target executive group of this course is the family-owned businesses, especially those, operating in North Westphalia, where sometimes one of the biggest challenges is handing the company over to next generations or successors deliberately prepared for the task. The process of digital transformation could further complicate such operations, so special preparation in this field is also envisaged. The teaching has been devised in a collaboration among HHL, the Westfälische Wilhelms-Universität (WWU) Münster, and the collaboration of the Chamber of Industry and Commerce (IHK) North Westphalia.
