The bachelor degree “Bachelor of Science in Computer Science” offered by Hof University of Applied Sciences is suitable for international students with a basic level of German, with the first two semesters being held only in English. They learn the foundations of computer science and simultaneously continue to develop their language skills. From the third semester on, the classes are in German. Besides the general computer sciences courses, the curriculum concentrates on teaching information for the design and implementation of advanced software systems. Students can also go deeper into certain topics on their preference, as part of their specialisation area. Moreover, they can pick form a variety of event on current themes such as artificial intelligence, IT security, robotics, etc.
