The study program “Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical Engineering” offered by Hof University of Applied Sciences provides students with the needed knowledge to become competent electrical engineers and can find technological solutions for a variety of problems. Participants will gain comprehensive knowledge in the fields of electrical energy engineering, mechatronics, and computer science. After that, different electrical and electronic components are discussed in more detail. Students will also learn how to design electrical and mechatronic systems using industry-standard tools and development environments for construction, simulation, and programming. The curriculum is very practice-oriented with internships and practice work incorporated. Furthermore, students will acquire social and methodological abilities in order to improve personality development and the capacity to operate in a team. Throughout the program, they will have the opportunity to delve into many aspects of electrical engineering such as robotics, industry 4.0, renewable energy technology, etc. Graduates of the program are active in the fields of digital factory, vehicle technology, medical technology, etc.
