The “Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering (International)” program at Hof University of Applied Sciences intends to prepare German-speaking students for doing business abroad. Over the course of six theoretical semesters and one international year, taught in German and English, students learn basic subjects like mathematics, physics, computer science, business administration and mechanical engineering, as well as specifics like automation, machine building and production management. A special feature of the program is that students are obliged to spend two semesters in a non-German speaking country. Admission requirements include a general university entrance qualification and good knowledge of English (recommended level “B1”).
