The seven-semester study program “Bachelor of Science in Media Informatics” offered by Hof University of Applied Sciences provides students with knowledge and skills in order to design digital applications in the areas of new media. Participants will develop the ability to design and program graphical user interfaces. The course of study emphasizes game programming, image processing, and other related skills. Competencies in informatics, design, new media, and marketing are gained via theoretical foundations and practical application. Only Hof University offers a media informatics program with a marketing concentration. Some of the topics that will be addressed throughout the course of study are design of computer animations, software architecture design, basics of information technology, etc.
