The English-taught four-semester study program “Master of Business Administration/Master of Engineering in Operational Excellence” offered by Hof University of Applied Sciences provides students with knowledge about a company`s strategic and financial structure. Furthermore, students will learn about the essential components of leadership and change process success, as well as how to master them via excellent communication and negotiating competencies. As part of the engineering side of the program, the emphasis is put on operational excellence, with methodologies like lean management, Six Sigma, agile management, and others being used. The first two semesters deliver practice-based theoretical understanding in form of case studies, excursions, etc. Some of the topics that will be addressed are strategic and financial framework, quality management, supply chain management, etc. The next two semesters students complete an internship in order to gain practice.
