The English-taught four-semester study program “Master of Engineering in Software Engineering for Industrial Applications” offered by Hof University of Applied Sciences emphasizes on hands-on training as well as academic courses to teach students technological and organizational expertise. Participants will be prepared for difficult management and engineering challenges in the area of software engineering for industrial applications. The first two semesters deliver practice-based theoretical understanding in form of case studies, excursions, etc. Some of the topics that will be addressed throughout the classes are project management, advanced programming, internet of things, communication and negotiation skills, etc. The next two semesters students complete an internship in order to gain practice. Upon successful completion of the program, graduates can build careers in the areas of software design, web technology projects, software development, etc.
