The English-taught three-semester study program “Master of Engineering in Sustainable Water Management and Engineering” offered by Hof University of Applied Sciences provides students with the knowledge and skills needed to tackle nowadays issues. The curriculum emphasizes important management and technical skills, as well as sustainability and digitalization. Students will practice systematic thinking and communicative skills based on the most recent research in these specific subjects. The program is interdisciplinary in character. Therefore, water treatment, sewage disposal, and water circulation are all intertwined with current concerns like sustainability, water risk management, etc. Besides lectures, group projects, study excursions, and discussions form the course of study. Some of the modules which students will attend are smart water, sustainability management, water quality and water cycle, etc. Incorporated to the syllabus, there is also an internship in a company, where students will find an issue, which will use for their Master`s thesis. Graduates of the program are active in the areas of water management, nature conservation and environmental protection, etc.
