hochschule 21, founded in 2004, is a state-accredited higher education institution seated in Buxtehude, Lower Saxony. It is privately funded by the hochschule 21 gGmbH. Some 1,000 students are enrolled in seven dual Bachelor courses which prepare them for professional activities in the fields of Civil Engineering, Health, and Engineering. hochschule 21’s course offerings are complemented by the extra-occupational interdisciplinary Master degree course “Leadership Compentence“, which is aimed at executives, as well as further training and continuing education courses in the fields of Civil Engineering, Health, and Business Management. The scope of Bachelor studies, which last between seven and eight semesters and involve quarterly alternating phases of theoretical and practical learning, include the degree courses “Architecture“, “Civil Engineering“, “Construction and Real Estate Management“, “Midwifery“, “Mechatronics“, as well as “Nursing“ and Physiotherapy“. Depending on the individual study course, hochschule 21 confers the following degrees: B.Eng., B. Sc., and MBA.
