HTW Berlin – University of Applied Sciences for Engineering and Economics is a public educational institution with a technical and business orientation. With more than 13,000 students and study offerings of around 70 Bachelor and Master programs, it is the largest state university of applied sciences throughout Berlin and East Germany. The University breaks down in five faculties, namely School of Engineering – Energy and Information (Faculty 1), School of Engineering – Technology and Life (Faculty 2), HTW Berlin Business School (Faculty 3), School of Computing, Communication and Business (Faculty 4), and School of Design and Culture (Faculty 5). The scope of extra-occupational studies includes the Bachelor degree programs “Business Administration“, “Mechanical Engineering“, and “Industrial Engineering“, as well as the Master degree programs “Development and Simulation Programs in Mechanical Engineering“, “General Management“, “Professional IT-Business“, and “Real Estate Management“. Added to this are the English-language post-graduate full-time programs “Business Administration and Engineering“, “Life Science Management“, as well as “Project Management and Data Science“. Aside from technically and business-oriented study programs, HTW Berlin also offers degree programs in computer science, culture, and design.
