Six semesters are needed to complete the “Bachelor of Arts in Childhood Education” at HTW Saar. The degree aims to prepare managers for the educational sector, who will work in a fruitful cooperation with children and families, and other parties concerned in society, to ensure a quality-of-life experience, personal talent fulfillment, and attainment of skills during the process of education. A broad spectre of scientific methods in the corresponding sphere of knowledge will be available in the specific modules in pedagogy, health science, psychology, jurisprudence, leadership, management. The practical phases scheduled in the program will develop contextually the theoretical didactic competence. Creative thinking, social commitment, and humane and just treatment of children as individuals is expected to be permanently instilled in future graduates.
