HTW Saar offers „Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering” program. It is done within a seven-semester period, throughout which all the diverse technical knowledge in designing, planning and constructing roads, bridges, tunnels, sewerages, and plants, is imparted to the future specialists. The stages of the curriculum include preparation, main, consolidation phase, and a final graduation thesis. Not only do they deal with the scientific aspects of the complex procedures and stages their future work of public importance represents, but also focus on the social, environmental and demographic efficiency of such. Construction businesses, authorities, municipalities cooperate in the practical preparation of the future civil engineers, in order to support the process of putting into action the mechanisms of constructing facilities of social importance. The divergent scope of skills acquired could logically be applied to a wide range of employment positions.
