During seven semesters, undergraduates can study the “Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical Engineering and Information Technology” course at the HTW Saar. The degree is a contemporary combination of the preparation for industrial automation specialist positions. Another much treated aspect nowadays, to which graduates will be able to respond, is the sustainable resource management in industry. Through the use of IT, new technological solutions are offered to the classical engineering problems. The human role and position are also considered in the digitalized industrial versions of today. Automation, electronics, computing, are spheres of high demand for specialists with this degree. The bachelor thesis, which concludes the course, can be embedded in the industrial company students choose themselves.
