The “Bachelor of Arts in International Business” at the HTW Saar has been designed with the international students in mind, and the degree requires knowledge of English, although courses in German are offered, too. Leadership skills have a different flair when performed in an international context, and this is what the program is geared to. Subjects treated include international economics, law, business administration, digitalization, sustainability, and, from the fourth semester on, the specialization phase starts. There are options for doing International marketing, Logistics, or Accounting and Reporting in more detail and becoming an expert in the field. Study abroad period, or the option for a double degree with a partner university in the USA, Finland or France are available under certain eligibility requirements. Professional language preparation will be achieved through the specific business English, plus French, Spanish or German courses.
