The HTW Saar provides a work and family compatible mode of conducting a one-year certificate course in “International Logistics and Supply Chain”. Nowadays even local and regional companies cannot stay isolated when having to perform supply and logistics operations. In three modules of 5ECTS each, topics from law, transport, networking and storage are tackled. The teaching method is extremely focused on practical application of the knowledge imparted, so a practice-oriented project has to be carried out at the end of the course. Representatives of business companies are involved in the development of the course. CRP Henri Tudor institute of Luxembourg also adds critical know-how in the program. The course is a great chance of polishing one’s specific English language skills, but German is not neglected, either.
